Film Screening: General Sullivan’s March Through Bradford County

June 23 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us on Tuesday, June 23, at 3:00 p.m. for a screening of Steve Berwick’s documentary General Sullivan’s March Through Bradford County as a part of Bradford County’s America250 Celebration!

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, it is important to acknowledge the role that Bradford County played in the American Revolution. Bradford County was the setting for Sullivan’s Expedition, which took place in the summer of 1779. The goal of the military campaign was to both destroy Native American settlements, homes, and crops, and to confront Loyalists who had contributed to widespread bloodshed, suffering, and destruction along the frontiers of New York and Pennsylvania since the onset of the conflict.

Steve Berwick is an experienced videographer who spent over a year planning, researching, and filming this documentary. General Sullivan’s March Through Bradford County offers the viewer an immersive historical experience, allowing the audience to watch Sullivan’s Expedition unfold on screen.
