Growing Language Through Books w/ Marisa Mooney

Join us on Saturday, January 10, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. as Speech-Language Pathologist Marisa Mooney provides information for parents and caregivers about how to foster early language skills in children birth through age 5 using books.

Marisa is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at Binghamton University. She has worked with children and families in the Binghamton area since 2017, specializing in early intervention and preschool special education.

Marisa is certified in It Takes Two to Talk® through The Hanen Centre and is a SPARK™-licensed early communication professional. With a strong background in language development and family-centered care, she focuses on empowering caregivers through evidence-based strategies that support communication in natural environments.
