Open Mic Night in the Library

Coffee house vibes, refreshments, local music, and community: Join us on March 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. as we host an Open Mic Night for local musicians here at the library. Perform, watch, jam, and support your local music scene with us. Those of you who may have joined for our previous open mic night know that we had some incredible local talent here.
Here are some details: The event is open to ages 14 and up. This is a ‘bring your own instrument’ event, although one extra guitar will be supplied for those who may need one. Sound will be covered with a basic PA system and microphone. A sign-up sheet will be provided, and performances are on a first-come first-served basis as time permits. If the list has been completed, a second rotation will be offered. Each performer will have an option of either 3 songs, or whatever they may fit into 15 minutes.
This is an fantastic event to share and support local music. The acoustics and sound here in the library are fantastic, and it is a great option for those who do not wish to attend open mics at local bars or restaurants.
The library is proud to be partnering and promoting the arts in the community, and we can’t wait to see you there.
