Summer Spark Enrichment — a new series at the Sayre Public Library:

Join us this summer for an exciting enrichment program that will ignite your child’s creativity and critical thinking skills! Our program integrates STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities with literacy to provide a well-rounded educational experience.

Explore he world of robotics, engage in hands-on science experiments, unleash your artistic talents, and dive into captivating stories that will enhance your literacy skills. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have fun while learning and growing in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Educational and creative activities will be led by local school educator Rianna Powers

Here are some details:

Summer Spark Enrichment begins in conjunction with the Library’s 2024 Summer Reading Program. Summer Spark will run on Wednesdays at 2:00 for roughly an hour-and-a-half.

We are being quite flexible about our ages, and simply would like to bill this as “school age,” in order to allow many different age groups to participate.

In turn, our first session will be held on Wednesday, June 19^th at 2:00 p.m. Our selected activity for this session is a session with Bristlebots. We’ll have a selection of stations, along with some prior warm-up activities and robotics learning.
